Tom Harrington & Jack Raymond
Event description
Tom Harrington is an indie-folk artist, who grew up in rural Victoria on a cropping farm before falling in love with the coastal life. He uses live vocal looping to create a larger-than-life sound whilst still remaining present and flowing, to a level unseen in other indie-folk artists. His rural upbringing sees him bringing flavours of country into his modern story telling, with a particular strength for connecting with crowds on a personal level. A humble singer-songwriter with a compulsion for raw, captivating storytelling when his acoustic guitar is in hand. Bound to make audiences feel connected every performance.
He has spent the past 12 months touring in his van and began 2024 supporting BOY AND BEAR, MORGAN EVANS, THE DREGGS, STEPH STRINGS & DIDIRRI, just to name a few.
Jack Raymond
Occasionally a voice grips you. Makes a song feel like the arrival of an old friend even when you don’t know the words. Jack Raymond has one of those voices. It’s the crackling of a campfire, boots on a gravel road, whisky meets ice. It’s a voice you’ve never heard before but you’ve known it your whole life.
Hailing from country Harrietville, Victoria, this man of the mountains has travelled the coastline and settled by the ocean in Noosa, Queensland. His style is “mountain roots” – rugged, raw and grounded in blues with an easy folk undertone. Raymond is a storyteller, drawing inspiration from his travels and the characters he’s met along the way.
