With his haunting vocals, intricate fingerpicking, and emotionally rich songwriting, Tom West crafts immersive shows that feel like postcards from another place. From the dusty Oodnadatta Track to the highways of America’s deep south, West’s music carries the weight of distance, loss and wide-open skies.

A seasoned performer and traveller, West has toured extensively across Australia and the USA, and recently returned from two years in Chicago, where he worked alongside Grammy-winning producer Ryan Freeland and soaked up the city’s storied musical history. His acclaimed album Antarctica, written during a time of deep personal loss, is a testament to his ability to turn raw emotion into something quietly transcendent.

2025 sees West return to stages with new music, fresh stories, and the ten-year anniversary of his beloved EP Oncoming Clouds.
