Event description

You're invited to join us for

Forest Regen at Tomaree's One Mile, 27 September 2025

Be part of the change, and experience how each small input adds to make a big difference.

The Friends of Tomaree National Park invite you to a terrific morning of bush care as we give a helping hand to regenerate bush and improve the resilience of the coastal forest on the One Mile / Morna Point headland at One Mile Beach along the Tomaree Coastal Walk.

On our morning community activity on Saturday 27 September we'll be managing bitou and other weeds along the Tomaree Coastal Walk, gradually making more inroads into our previous achievements, .

Through the morning we will learn a little about the native vegetation, and find out how to deal with invasive weeds such as bitou bush (Chrysanthemoides monilifera).

We will send you more information about the MORNING, where to meet, what to bring and more. Enjoy a simple but delicious morning tea after the activity.

The activity is from 8.30 to 11.00 am, please arrive by 8.15 for sign on and organising equipment.

We look forward to meeting with you.

Please register each participant separately.
If this is your first activity with the Friends of Tomaree NP, you will be asked to supply your contact details and those of an emergency contact (first name only and mobile) who is not at this activity. Should you have any queries, please email Sue at tomaree.np.friends@npansw.org.au
