Fishermans headland guided post burn walk,

Tomaree National Park

Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Tomaree National Park 

You're invited to join us on a short guided walk to explore how the February 2024 fire impacted the headland and its vegetation. See and appreciate the recovery process in action -- what is and isn't recovering following this hot fire.

When booking, each order is limited to 4 people per order. For families or groups with additional people, please make a second order.

Walks will start from the Iris Moore picnic area -- exact spot will be advised prior to the walk.

Please wear sturdy shoes for safety -- while the paths are marked they are uneven and rocky.

The National Parks Association, through its local groups, the Friends of Tomaree National Park and Port Stephens Bushwalking Group, are our walk guides.

This walk is one of several activities being held as part of the family-friendly Picnic for Nature event at Iris Moore Reserve on the same day.
