Tombstone Preservation, Restoration & Symbology
Join us at the Battle Creek Regional History Museum for a special presentation by cemetery preservation experts Bobbie Mathis and Andrew Noland.
They will cover some of the history of cemeteries, the preservation of historic tombstones, monuments and markers. They will also discuss in detail repair methods, restoration as will as symbology that you might encounter in historic cemeteries. Bobbie Mathis and Andrew Noland have repaired and restored thousands of historic tombstones in cemeteries across Michigan and in surrounding states.
Tickets for the program are $5, and proceeds go to support the Battle Creek Regional History Museum.
