Description

Tomorrow, And Tomorrow, And Tomorrow is presented by the Auckland University Student Choir and features soloists from the University of Auckland.

This concert takes its name from a soliloquy spoken by the character Macbeth. The programme is inspired by Shakespearean monologues such as the famous 'All the world's a stage' from As You Like It. The pieces we sing explore themes of aging, the purpose of life and cycle of humanity. The stage is always there, the actors are always different and the story always ends the same way.

"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exist and their entrance;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages."

The Auckland University Student Choir is an all-comers choir at the University of Auckland conducted by Dr Jono Palmer. The choir is organised and run by students. The choir consists of students studying all different subjects across the university. We come together every week during the university semester for music and community. This concert is the culmination of our efforts this semester which are we excited to share with you!

Join us at 7:30pm on Friday 16th October at Kāhui St David's in the centre of Auckland.

Tickets are $20 for and $15 for students. Doors open 7pm.
