Tool and Customise Your own Leather Luggage Tag with Jupiter

Please note: this is a 2.5hr class to finish the luggage tag.

Learn how to tool leather, making a permanent design using different shaders and stamps, including letters and lots of fun designs.

The object we will create is a leather luggage tag following a choice of sample designs.

• What kinds of leather are tool-able and which aren't

• What each different tooling stamp is great for and the different effects you can achieve with it.

• Why all the water? What conditions you need the leather in to make your mark.

• Sewing leather

• Add your name or other personalisations

• How to finish and seal off your final piece.

Who will be Teaching? 

Jupiter (they/them) hails from the Pacific Northwest of the USA. They have been collecting hobbies and arts while traveling and have been doing leather work since the 1990's.
