Tool Maintenance Workshop
Description
There are two sessions of this event, Saturday, November 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Thursday, November 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. Please make your selection when you register.
Join the Friends and volunteers of Allen Centennial Gardens and the WI Hardy Plant Society for a get together to clean and oil our garden tools. We'll get our tools ready for winter and chat with other gardeners while we do it!
Experienced volunteers will provide guidance in disassembly, cleaning and oiling of your garden pruners and hand tools and help you determine if a tool needs to go for a professional sharpening.
Tool cleaning and oiling supplies are provided. Bring your pruners and hand tools and wear clothes to get dirty in.
In addition to cleaning your own tools we would like everyone to clean at least one of the AC Garden's tools.
The workshop is free to all in attendance but we ask that you please enter the code AGCTools if you are a Friend or volunteer of Allen Centennial Garden or WHPSTools if you are a member of the WHPS the registration form. You may use either if you are a member of both organizations.
If registering more than one person, you will need to go through the registration process for each person separately.
