Toolbox Talks @ The Algal Bloom Shed
Description
Join us in the Algal Bloom Shed for a speaker series to share community know-how about coastal harmful algal blooms (HABs).
The Toolbox Talks speaker series brings together a diversity of perspectives on these complex, systemic disasters.
Each month, we’ll feature two speakers around a single topic, with a 15/15/30 format: two fifteen-minute presentations plus thirty minutes of Q&A. When two speakers come at a single theme with different perspectives, we gain insight into complexity, uncertainties, trade-offs, different interpretations, new ways to think.
Its about showcasing that systems problems call for many kinds of experience and expertise.
Anyone’s welcome, including families - no prior knowledge needed!
Day: Second Thursday of the month
Time: 8-9pm (South Australian time)
Convenors: Enya Chitty and Amy McLennan
