    Event description

Creating Captions & Transcripts with YouTube

Videos have become an invaluable tool in classrooms, providing a meaningful way for students to engage with new content, review how to complete a task, and create their own projects and expressions of learning.

Ensuring all videos have accurate captions and transcripts is key to making content accessible for all students to utilize. During this session, Jay McKay and Melissa Green will show you how to use YouTube to generate and edit captions for your videos as well as create transcripts.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Edit auto-generate captions in YouTube
    • Generate captions in multiple languages in YouTube
    • Create a transcript document from YouTube
