Tools for Changemakers: Practical skills for purpose-driven leadership

Tools for Changemakers is a dynamic workshop series designed to equip women and gender-diverse people with the skills, tools, and mindset to lead with confidence, navigate change, and build collective impact.

Through virtual 90-minute lunchtime sessions, expert facilitators will guide you through practical strategies to strengthen your leadership, coaching, communication, and resilience.  

Across all of WELA’s programs, our curriculum is built on four key, interrelated themes:

• Personal development – Providing a safe environment to self reflect, support your personal wellbeing and grow resilience, confidence and effectiveness.
• Approaches to impact – Skills, creative tools and frameworks for community building and change making to address gender bias, inequality and drive purposeful impact.
• Evolving your leadership – Enhancing leadership in your organisation, increasing visibility and impact of your change making.
• Systemic change – Understand the bigger picture of power structures within society, learning to create an inclusive and just environment for all.
  

Whether you’re leading a team, a movement, or your own changemaking journey, these sessions offer space to reflect, connect, and grow—so you can take bold, confident action for our environment and climate.
