Served by multiple lines including City Loop, Mernda, Hurstbridge, Craigieburn, Sunbury, Upfield, and Werribee/Williams Landing lines, providing easy access from across Melbourne. Tram: Several tram routes stop nearby: Tram 86 (Bundoora RMIT – Waterfront City Docklands) stops along Nicholson Street right outside the museum. Tram 96 (East Brunswick – St Kilda Beach) also stops within walking distance on Nicholson Street. Bus: Local buses stop along Lygon Street and surrounding streets, connecting from nearby suburbs. Accessible parking

1. On-site Underground Car Park Accessible parking bays are located on Level P2, directly adjacent to the lifts—making for the easiest access into the museum. Lift access from the car park takes you smoothly to the museum foyer. 2. Accessible Street-Level Options There is limited time-restricted paid street parking on Nicholson and Rathdowne Streets, including some accessible spaces.
