Event description
The City of Fremantle, in partnership with the inaugural Totally Lit Festival, presents the Totally Lit Trail.
Every stop on the trail unlocks a new piece of the story.
Journey through Fremantle on a quest to find six unique puzzle pieces, with hidden surprises, great activities* and prizes to win along the way.
PLEASE NOTE: FREE tickets are only required for children wishing to complete the trail. Adults can accompany children without any need for tickets.
Follow the trail map to collect a magnetic puzzle piece from six partnering businesses. Completing the trail will create a magical illustration by local artist Frane Lessac – yours free to keep.
Hidden adventures await - Look out for special offers and bonus activities* along the way.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE TRAIL
1. REGISTER: FREE tickets are only required for children wishing to complete the trail. Adults accompany children without any need for tickets. The ticket will have a trail map collection time from Fremantle Town Hall.
2. FOLLOW THE TRAIL: Follow your trail map to collect magnetic puzzle pieces at partnering businesses.
3. FIND HIDDEN ADVENTURES: Check for special activities presented by our partners.
4. COMPLETE THE TRAIL: Collect all the magnetic puzzle pieces to create a magical magnetic illustration by local artist Frane Lessac – yours free to keep.
5. ENTER THE COMPETITION: Scan the QR code on your trail map to go into the draw to win some amazing prizes**

Cicerello’s – Meet the marine team. A hands-on, touch experience with selected marine animals. Experts share their knowledge and fascinating facts about the marine life in the Cicerello’s aquarium.
Little Creatures – Creatures Craft Table. A selection of craft activities upstairs in the Great Hall
Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges – Harry Potter corner. Decorate your very own wand and glasses.
WA Shipwrecks Museum:
· Follow the Stowaway Trail: Embark on a quest across the seven seas! Solve clues, collect mysterious cargo, and piece together shipwreck puzzles. Keep a sharp lookout — a sneaky stowaway might be hiding among the goods!
· Create Your Own Message-in-a-Bottle: Using craft materials and creative flair, design and decorate your own message-in-a-bottle. Imagine where your message might travel — across oceans, through time, or into the hands of a fellow adventurer!
· Mini Picture Book Adventure: Colour your own mini storybook and follow the journey of a little boat on a big adventure. Then, relax in the Great Reads book nook, featuring delightful stories by local authors.
· Take the Stormy Seas Challenge: Can you balance barrels, bottles, cannonballs and treasure chests on your ship? Test your skills in this fun and tricky game of cargo loading!

• Bookings are essential: The Totally Lit Trail is a special free community event for families – please be considerate of others and only book one session time for your family. If you are unable to attend on that day, your tickets will still be valid for another day, there is no need to rebook.
• The City of Fremantle uses the EasyPark system for its street parking and city carparks - https://easypark.com.au/en_au
Please make sure you have downloaded the app to use the system. The closest off-street parking Fremantle Town Hall is Secure Parking, FOMO Carpark.
• The Totally Lit Trail will go ahead in all weather – wear comfy shoes and clothes and check the weather on the day. Pack your gum boots, rain coat and umbrella, if needed!
