Our debut production, The Taming of the Shrew, transports Shakespeare's beloved comedy to the vibrant world of the 1960s. Against a backdrop of social change and shifting expectations, this adaptation explores love, identity, power and partnership with humour, heart and curiosity. Rather than providing easy answers, it invites audiences to question, reflect and discover new meaning within one of theatre's most debated works.

Our name comes from the idea that there is always a fifth act still to be written, the one each audience member carries with them when the curtain falls. Every production asks not only what happened, but what happens next?
