    Event description

Celebrate World Bee Day on a tour of the beehives at Australian Parliament House.

Discover the importance of bees as pollinators alongside the sustainability programs and ecosystems that go into keeping these gardens in pristine condition.

This private tour is led by the Australian Parliament House Head Beekeeper and a senior landscape gardener specialising in the Parliament garden's Integrated Pest Management System.

You will also taste the honey harvested this year, some of the products made from the honey and take a small jar of honey home.

    Plan your visit

Our tours depart on time so please arrive 10 minutes before the tour starts. This tour is a walking tour, participants make their way through the outside gardens and may encounter uneven surfaces and changing weather conditions. We recommend comfortable shoes and dressing to the weather conditions.

Please note, tours are subject to change at short notice.

We look forward to welcoming you to Parliament House. Plan your visit today.
