Barrique's famous annual Tour de France dinner is back!
Each year we invite a guest wine presenter and a guest chef to present wines and food of the Tour de France route.
Our wine presenter, Ambre, is from Paris. She moved to Burgundy to study wine, and now works in Melbourne. She is presenting the French wines from the DMG Fine Wines portfolio.
Chef Yolaine Corbin is an old friend of ours. Winner of SBS TV's "The Chef's Line" series 2, we know Yo best as chef and collaborator on a dozen or more cook books. A pastry chef from Orléans originally, Yo now caters extensively for the French embassy in Melbourne, as well as working as an educator. We can't wait to catch up over dinner with Yo!
Also this year, we have an unprecedented RETURN appearance of a very special guest, to take us through the stages of Le Tour as it happened!
Cost: $165 per person, includes 6 wines, 5 courses. Cost is payable on the night. Wines available to purchase on the night at special prices too.
Ticket pre-sales have been enormous, and there's only a handful left!
Notes: The menu contains meat, fish and dairy.
