Tour of Lavarack House

Lavarack House is a four-bedroom residence at the heart of Nobby Beach, embracing a tropical modernist architectural language that responds to the Gold Coast’s subtropical climate and lifestyle. The design seeks to establish a strong sense of place through a considered combination of form, materiality and landscape.

The home’s linear form is softened and articulated by a distinctive curved corner addressing the intersection of Petrel Avenue and Lavarack Road. This prominent architectural gesture responds to the site’s visibility and reinforces the house as a defining element within the Nobby Beach streetscape. The result is a contemporary residence that balances a strong architectural identity with a relaxed coastal character appropriate to its setting.
