Maintaining a Five Star Workforce (4.15pm – 5.15pm)

With the continuing uncertainty of state border closures and no end in sight to international border closures, it is harder than ever to retain great employees within our businesses. This session looks at ways to engage and retain your workforce, in a time where we don’t know what is going to happen from one day to the next.

Topics will be discussed in a panel setting with both human resources expertise and real industry experiences.

Topics include:

  • Using your networks to leverage alternative and temporary employment for your employees
  • Accessing free training and professional development opportunities for you and your team members
  • Working on your business whilst you cannot work in it
  • Creating flexible permanent working arrangements and the Fair Work Act
  • Becoming an Employer of Choice

This event is for anyone who employs people and wants to retain their best team members without spending a cent.

Panellists will include industry representatives from small and larger businesses as well as Jobs Tasmania. Panellists to be confirmed in the coming days...

There will be ample opportunity to ask questions of panel members to get the information you need to have a the workforce you need to meet demand, whenever that may come.

Networking and drinks (5.15pm – 6.00pm)

You can attend one or both sessions, networking opportunities and drinks will be provided at the conclusion of the panel discussion.
