Event description

To kick off the 2024 event calendar, TICT is proud to launch its sixth annual Tourism Collective Luncheon. This important event for our industry is hosted during the week of International Women's Day, and is about celebrating, honouring, and challenging the role of Tasmanian women in tourism, as well as the industries which connect with and support us.

This year we have an incredible line-up of speakers who will share their insights and have some important conversations with Amy Hills, the CEO of the TICT, who will be our MC for the day.

We are honoured to have award winning actress and producer Marta Dusseldorp as our Guest Speaker. As Director of Archipelago Productions in lutruwita/Tasmania, Marta will provide a unique perspective on working in Tassie and the connection of the Arts with our industry.

We'll then get into our industry panel where Amy will lead a Q&A conversation with the CEO of Tourism Tasmania, Sarah Clark, Marketing Manager with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys, Melinda Anderson, and Executive General Manager of TAS, VIC, SA and NT of Southern Cross Austereo, Ally Bradley.

Importantly, the TICT is proud to have an ongoing relationship with Dress for Success Tasmania - the charity partner for the Tourism Collective event. Last year, we raised a record amount through a raffle - and this year we’ll be doing it all again. There will be a number of prizes available on offer, and raffle tickets available to purchase throughout the day (Eftpos only). If you are interested in donating a raffle prize, please contact TICT Event Coordinator, Bella Alcorso, via email: bella.alcorso@tict.com.au or phone 0488 732 159.
