NZ Young Farmers Tournament - My Livestock Stock Judging

NZ Young Farmers My Livestock Stock Judging tournament is back!    

HOW DOES IT WORK?  

1. The aim of the stock judging Tournament  is to develop an interest and skill  level of stock assessment in young people and this generation of farmers.  The ability to be a good judge of stock is a skill that can be easily learnt by competing in stock judging tournament.

2. Primarily the sections consist of Beef Cattle, Dairy Cattle, Meat & Wool Sheep Breeds, and Wool fleece and run in accordance with the Royal Agriculture Society Rules.

3. Seven Regional Finals run across the country between 1 February and 2 April 2022. 

4. Competing individually, the top three individuals from each region progress through to the NZ Young Farmers National Tournament held in Whangarei - July 2022

WHO CAN ENTER?:
Any New Zealand Young Farmers Member with a current membership. 

PRIZES:
Prizes are yet to be confirmed.

Please note: NZ Young Farmers operates in accordance with the Government’s Covid-19 Protection Framework – The Traffic Light System. Therefore, to ensure we can run the Contest events safely and in their usual formats, we will be checking all attendees' 12 years of age or older have a valid vaccination passport on arrival. In addition, will be following all My Vaccine Pass requirements, as set out by the Government.
