Tours - Holmesglen Institute's Victorian Tunnelling Centre

The Victorian Tunnelling Centre is working with Suburban Connect, the alliance tasked with constructing the Tunnel section from Cheltenham to Glen Waverley (Package C) on the Suburban Rail Loop.
In conjunction with the Industry Briefing scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, within the Auditorium at Monash University's Green Chemical Futures Building, we are delighted to offer an exclusive tour of the Victorian Tunnelling Centre.
Limited to two groups, each comprising 20 individuals, this tour promises an immersive exploration into the cutting-edge facilities and groundbreaking work undertaken at the Centre.
Group 1/Tour 1: 1:00pm-2:00pm: Pre-Event Tunneling Centre Tour
Group 2/Tour 2: 2:00pm-3:00pm: Pre-Event Tunneling Centre Tour
Attire Requirements:
- NO high heels, open-toe shoes, skirts
- All attendees must wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, closed -toe shoes (runners, books, steal cap boots etc are acceptable)
- Hi-vis vest and hard hats will be provided upon arrival (attendees are welcome to bring their own if they have it)
Parking:
- There is parking available (free) however space is limited on campus so people may need to park on the street (obeying any street signs).
- If you are arriving by bus, they are welcome to park on the street during the tour, or we have a gravel area by Gate 1 they are welcome to park
Entry:
The entrance is in Building 1, (corner of Rae Street and Drummond Street).
