Event description

Queensland Alliance for Mental Health (QAMH) invites you to an afternoon gathering for Community Mental Health and Wellbeing services in Townsville.

This informal event is open to both QAMH members and non-member organisations.

It’s an opportunity to:

  • Share a brief snapshot of your service and the work you're doing locally

  • Join a conversation about the challenges and opportunities facing providers in the Townsville region

  • Connect with others delivering community-based supports across the area

As the peak body for community mental health in Queensland, QAMH will use insights from this session to inform our advocacy work including written submissions, formal roundtables, and policy discussions with government.

Date: Tuesday 23 September

Time: 3pm – 4:30pm (discussion from 3pm – 4pm, followed by networking)

Location: Riverside Gardens Community Centre, 55 Riverside Boulevard, Douglas

Catering: Light catering provided

We’d love for you to join us to improve local referral pathways and share your voice to help shape the issues we take forward on behalf of the sector.

Places are limited so please RSVP by Friday 22 August
