Towse, Tomboy, Megan Claire
Event description
Towse is a folk-pop band hailing from California with a vulnerable and whimsically uplifting sound, tongue-in-cheek, storytelling lyrics, and shredding fiddle, perfect both for sipping your tea to and driving through winding mountain roads screaming the lyrics full-blast. Core members Grace Fellows and Corwin Zekley have been on a perpetual DIY tour of America and the UK for the whole past year, but are excited to welcome Dorsey Crocker on bass and Dylan Murray on drums for their first ever Bay Area full-band headline show.
Towse has been featured in Voyage LA magazine, played at numerous festivals such as Folklife and Sh-BANG, and played at storied venues like The Troubadour in LA and The Old Blue Last in London. People who like Chappell Roan, Fiona Apple, or Phoebe Bridgers will enjoy their show.
Tomboy goes acoustic! Typically a five-piece band, Tomboy, based in San Francisco, is stripping down their sound to accompany Towse for this performance. Their lead singer and guitarist are a peaceful one-two punch of internal reflection. Their music highlights moments of solitude and gratitude (with a pinch of attitude).
Megan Claire makes music for screaming, crying, and feeling everything all at once. Rooted in indie folk with influences from 90's alternative music, her songs pull inspiration from artists such as Alanis Morissette, Hozier, and more. Based in Northern California, she’s recently played venues across the region including The Starlet Room and Goldfield Midtown in Sacramento, sharing the stage opening for artists such as Amelia Day, Humbird, and Amber De La Rosa of Moxy The Band. She’s currently working on recording her debut EP, with an anticipated release in Fall 2025.
Tickets are $20 general admission. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.
