Toy Swap & Toy Hospital - September 2026

Are your children’s toys no longer being used or have they outgrown them? Bring them along to our Toy Swap and exchange them for something new to enjoy.

Children can bring up to six (6) toys, books or games that are clean, complete, in good working condition and suitable for children aged 2-8 years. Please book one ticket per child, not per toy. Adults do not require a separate ticket to their child.

We’ll also be running a Toy Hospital for soft toys needing minor repairs. If you would like to access this service, please select the Toy Hospital option when booking. Spaces are limited and, if you bring more than one soft toy, our Toy Doctor may not be able to repair them all.

Please note:

• All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• Once a toy has been swapped, it cannot be returned, so please ensure your child is ready to part with it.

Time

• 10am to 11am is for toy drop off only (and the time to visit the soft toy hospital!).

• 11am to 12pm is your time to swap!

How the swap works

To take part, toys must be dropped off during the allocated drop-off time. For each accepted item, you will receive a token to exchange for another item during the swap session. A maximum of six (6) items per child will be accepted.

What toys will we accept?

• Toys, books and games in good quality condition

What will we not accept?

• Clothes

• Underwear, socks

• Other children equipment (e.g. baby seats, bassinets)

• Cloth nappies or disposable nappies

• Items with adult content

• Items with loose battery covers (batteries are a choking hazard)

• Items missing pieces (please try to secure or contain toys with multiple pieces)

• Items that pose other occupational health and safety risks

• Broken, stained, smelly items

Please note that all items will be checked before acceptance and some items may not be suitable for swapping. In this case, you will need to take the item home with you. Any leftover items at the end of the event will be donated to a local charity.
