About the Event
We are pleased to bring our Toy Swap Event to the Randwick Sustainability Hub. Bring along your beloved toys and books to swap with your friends in our community.
Join us at Saturday Circle! Our Toy Swap is not just about swapping toys – it's an opportunity for kids to discover the power of sustainability and the value of reusing. By participating, you'll help reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to the reduction of landfill waste.
Don't miss this chance to connect, learn, and contribute. Let's make a difference together!
What can I bring with me:
Bring no more than one bagful of toys that are clean, in good condition, and ready to share.
Clean and check your toys: Make sure all toys are wiped down and in working condition.
Soft toys: Soft toys must be washed or wiped clean prior to the event.
Battery-operated toys: Please check that batteries are working before bringing them. Replace batteries if needed. If you’re unsure, you can remove them. we’ll test all battery-operated toys together at the event.
Toy sets: Keep sets together in bags or boxes so toys remain complete and fun to play with. For board games or puzzles, place smaller pieces in separate bags and secure them with a rubber band.
Please note: Items that do not meet the swap guidelines may be declined at check-in. Due to space and capacity limits, we may also refuse items if large quantities are brought.
Simple rules to follow:
Ask yourself: Is this item good enough for my friend or another kid?
Due to safety concerns, you must check that all battery-operated items (toys, games and books) are in working condition and replace their batteries when necessary.
Battery-operated toys should have battery cases secured by screws or other means to prevent children from prying them open.
While there are no strict limits, please contribute items in reasonable household quantities.
We may refuse any items that are not in the desired condition, and you must remove them from the premises.
Participation in the swap is at your own risk. We cannot guarantee the quality, safety, or history of items exchanged. Please check the condition and suitability of any item before accepting it.
