Toy Swap – Bring a Toy, Swap a Toy!

Event description

As part of the "Rethink, Reuse Your Toys to Spark Joy" workshop, you are invited to bring along one preloved toy and swap it with others.

The Joy of Giving team will host a Mini Toy Swap after the workshop:

Date: 1st September
Time: 12pm - 12:45 pm
Item: Bring one item that fits in a backpack for swapping.

You and your child will have the opportunity to prepare the toys and write a message for the next owner to treasure.

This Mini Toy Swap promotes sustainability and teaches children the values of sharing and reusing. Expect a lively toy exchange, engaging activities, and discussions on reducing waste and making eco-conscious choices.

It’s a fantastic chance for your children to get involved and start their eco journey with just a single toy!

Simple rules to follow:

  • Ask yourself: Is this item good enough for my friend or another kid?
  • Due to safety concerns, you must check that all battery-operated items (toys, games and books) are in working condition and replace their batteries when necessary.
  • Battery-operated toys should have battery cases secured by screws or other means to prevent children from prying them open.
  • We may refuse any items that are not in the desired condition, and you must remove them from the premises.

FAQs:

What happens if I have more toys in great working conditions?
