Join the Trauma Regional Advisory Council – V (TRAC-V) for our First Annual Injury Prevention Resources Fair on November 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weslaco Chamber of Commerce!
Under the theme “Shine a Green Light for Injury Prevention,” this community event will bring together local organizations, healthcare professionals, and community partners to promote safety awareness and provide valuable injury prevention resources.
Explore information and resources focused on fall prevention, child safety, pedestrian and bicycle safety, fire prevention, and home safety.
Together, we can light a pathway to safety and help prevent injuries across the Rio Grande Valley!
Who will be there?
TRAC-V Injury Prevention Committee
The Injury Prevention Committee will share tips and tricks to stay healthy and provide goodies and first aid kits!
TRAC-V Cardiac Committee
The Cardiac Committee will provide hands-only CPR training and teach signs and symptoms to recognize a cardiac event like a heart attack.
Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)
TxDOT staff will demonstrate the consequences of driving under the influence in their interactive virtual rollover simulator!
