Tradie for a Day - Taster Days at OP

Want to get a real sense of what it's like to study a trade? 

Come along and give it a go!

Our Carpentry and Painting and Decorating lecturers will be on hand to show you the ropes. You'll get to see our workshop facilities and get hands-on with the tools.

If you've ever considered taking up a trade, this is a great chance to give it a go. Our friendly lecturers are happy to answer all your questions and share their experiences. 

Learn about different types of trades, training, entering the workforce and job opportunities. 

There's no cost, and lunch is provided.

Please note that closed toe shoes will be required to be worn at all times. Without which, you will be unable to enter our workshop spaces.

We welcome parents and support individuals to attend the Taster Day alongside individuals. However, we kindly ask that only ONE ticket be claimed per prospective student. 

Please note that a minimum number of attendees is required for this event to proceed. All registered participants will be contacted prior to the event to confirm if it is going ahead.
