Boost your trade game and build homes that actually perform. Join us for a Home Performance Masterclass tailored for tradies, renovators, and designers who are keen to upskill in building warmer, drier, and more energy-efficient homes.

Workshop Highlights
Guided by home performance expert (and ex-builder) Ian Mayes, this session explores the science of a building, and how to apply it to increase the performance of the building

The masterclass will cover

  • Why so many NZ homes miss the mark and how the 4 elements of building performance work together. 

  • Understanding insulation, how it works, thermal bridging and weak points in the thermal envelope. 

  • Better heating: Heat transfer, how to run a heat pump, whole house ventilation systems, the importance of warm surfaces. 

  • Practical, on-site fixes you can use straight away

When: Saturday 2 August | 9am–12.30pm
