Ghulam Hasan Khan is an eminent young Hindustani classical vocalist belonging to the 200 year old Rampur – Sahaswan Gharana which owes its allegiance to Miyan Tansen’s tradition.
He was initiated into music at a tender age of 3 years by his father Ustad Ghulam Abbas Khan, a vocalist of international repute. Helater trained under the worthy guidance of his late grandfather PadmashriUstad Ghulam Sadiq Khan, who was one of the finest Hindustani classical vocalists of India.
Ghulam Hasan Khan is a graded artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan since 2018. He is also an empanelled artist of ICCR (Indian council for cultural relations) since 2017. He also received 'SARVAPALLI RADHAKRISHNAN NATIONAL AWARD' in the year 2017 in the field of Hindustani classical music.
He will be joined by Abhijit Dan on the tabla.
Abhijit Dan is a master tabla player and dedicated disciple of the legendary Padmashree Pandit Swapan Chowdhury. Abhijit Danis known for his mastery of traditional tabla rhythms, intricate compositions, and powerful improvisations. He has imbibed the essence of this ancient art form, delivering performances that are both deeply rooted in tradition and creatively inspiring.
