Traffic Control Training Course Coburg North (1 Day)

This course will teach you how to control traffic with a stop-slow bat and implement traffic management plans. This course is for anyone intending to, or carrying out traffic management works in addition to their regular role. This may include the construction sector, surveying industry and event workers .

Please note: This course is not for anyone directly employed in the Traffic Management Industry

You will be required to attend this course for 1 day on the day you have booked. Class time is 8am - 230pm

PROGRAM OUTLINE

What you will learn how to

• Confidently set up traffic control zones using the right signs and equipment, following traffic guidance schemes.
• Effectively communicate with drivers and pedestrians to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
• Identify and assess traffic control risks and implement appropriate safety measures.
• Understand and comply with relevant traffic control regulations and procedures.
• Operate two-way communication devices.
• Perform closing down and cleaning processes.

• Who needs to complete this course? This course is for anyone intending to, or carrying out traffic management works in addition to their regular role. This may include the construction sector, surveying industry and event workers
• Does completing this course allow me to work for a Traffic Management Company? No it does not. To work for a Traffic Management Company you must complete the three day course.  If you would like to know more about this please contact us at enquiries@tme.edu.au
• How old do I have to be to do this course? The minimum age is 18 years old.
• How long does the course go for? The course goes for 1 day  from 8am - 2:30pm.
• Where is the course held? The course is held at TME Coburg North Campus at 6 Marion St Coburg North 3058.
• Am I required to complete the entire session? Yes
• What PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required? We will provide any necessary PPE if required.
• Will there be someone helping us through the theory and practical? Yes, we have a dedicated trainer that will look after you through the entire process.
• What happens if I fail the assessment?   You will be offered the opportunity for reassessment.  However this MUST occur within 60 days of your course date.
• Do I need to pay for further training? If you are required to come back to us for re-assessment you will have 60 days to do so for free.  Anything outside of this may incur a charge that we will inform you of.
