Trail Greeter Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer and help create a welcoming experience for our visitors!

Welcome visitors to the Arboretum and help them have a safe, fun, and respectful time on our trails. No prior experience is needed. We'll provide all the training you'll need.

Volunteers are stationed outside near the trail map kiosk and provide visitors with information about:

• The trails, gardens, and grounds

• Our policies and rules

• Upcoming programs and events

• Volunteer opportunities

• Membership

• Ways to donate

• The history of the Arboretum and grounds

Shade and a chair will be provided.

You'll be provided with training, information, and guidance to help you feel confident in your role.

** You'll notice that when you're signing up it looks like you're purchasing tickets. The system we use is designed for ticket sales. There will never be a cost to sign up to volunteer and you won't need the ticket you receive in your email. **

Viles Arboretum has 224-acres of land and 7-miles of trails that are open every day of the year and free to visit. Volunteers play a vital role in helping to keep our spaces maintained.
