Trail Ride - Lilybrook - Goan Hills with Kay

Venue:  Gaon Hill

Date:  Saturday, 6th July 2024

Time: Sign On - 8:30am - Ride Out - 9:00am

Duration:  3/4 hours

Food:  Bring your own morning tea & Lunch.  

Bring Own: Halter and Lead Rope

Terrain:  A moderate half day ride with a fair bit of shade, rocky in parts so suggest shoes / boots or seasoned.   There is a couple of timber step overs. 

BYO saddlebag for morning tea on the trail near creek for horse to drink, bring plenty of human drinking water, Lunch back at the floats.

Float Parking: Lilly brook Recreation Area Western Entrance

Ribbons: Green- New, nervous or unsure horses /   Red - Kickers, or may kick

ATHRA: - recommends the following.

-  Riders under 18 must wear an approved helmet

-  It is recommended that riders wear full length trousers and sleeved shirts.  Suitable smooth soled riding footwear

-  Saddlebag for food / water

-  No dogs on ride
