Event description

Welcome to our Livelighter Intro to Trail Running Series!

Keen to try trail running but not sure where to start? The LiveLighter Intro to Trail Running Series makes it easy. Join one, two, or all three guided sessions led by Clint & Sarah from Manning Park Trail Runners.

Across three Perth Hills locations, you’ll learn technique, pacing and trail awareness while meeting like-minded people and discovering the joy of running in nature.

  • Bells Rapids – Sat 11 Oct, 6–7 pm (5 km / 6 km)

  • Kalamunda (Jorgensen Park) – Sun 26 Oct, 7–11 am (4.4 km / 6.4 km)

  • Bickley Valley – Sat 29 Nov, 7–11:30 am (5.7 km / 6.4 km)

What you’ll get:

  • Guided coaching from experienced runners

  • Scenic trails showcasing the best of the Perth Hills

  • A supportive, social environment

  • A private Facebook group for ongoing support

  • No pressure, just progress and good times!

Your trail, your pace:

Each of the events are perfect for all levels and will be based on a 1 hour running split across two groups:

  • Option A - Challenge seekers (those looking to go a little further and a steady run);

  • Option B - The adventure seekers (those looking to run, jog, walk a bit, take in the views, enjoy the social vibes and being in nature).
