Train Kali Presents: Art of the Draw (Fundraiser for CFC)
Event description
Join Train Kali and top Filipino martial artists (from Pekiti Tirsia Kali) in supporting Creations for Cures, a meaningful nonprofit organization. Our event will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2023, in West Nyack, NY. Whether you prefer to train in-person or virtually, your participation will make a positive impact. If you're unable to train but wish to donate, you may do so. Let's make a difference together!
About Creations for Cures:
Your donation can make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer and other serious illnesses. Creations for Cures (CFC) is dedicated to bringing the healing power of art to these children through monthly art projects and art kits filled with supplies. Our volunteers help children express themselves and experience joy through art, either virtually or in person. With your support, we can expand our program to reach even more children and families across the country.
Every year, over 15,000 children between birth and 19 years old are diagnosed with cancer. Our mission is to alleviate their suffering and bring them the healing power of art. Currently, we serve 15 hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses across the country. Your $20 donation can buy an art kit for a child and their family. All funds raised go towards our art program and expansion to more hospitals. Join us in positively impacting the lives of these children and their families.
