Event description

Training information

The Workplace Respect Project’s Train the Trainer workshop is an opportunity to interactively build the skills and knowledge to equip participants to deliver workplace sexual harassment and active bystander training to their workplace and wider community as expert facilitators.

Attendees who complete this training will be provided with free digital resources developed by the Workplace Respect Project, including slides, a facilitator’s guide, an attendee activity booklet, and evaluation resources to enable them to successfully deliver free interactive workplace sexual harassment and active bystander training to groups of up to 30 people.

Who is this training for?

People who have previously attended the Workplace Respect Project’s 3.5-hour workplace sexual harassment and active bystander training workshop are eligible to attend this session.

Due to our limited capacity, we kindly ask that organisations registering multiple staff members please limit numbers to a maximum of four staff per session.

What will I learn?

Learning outcomes include:

  • Building safe, inclusive spaces by better understanding privilege, bias and trauma.
  • Strategically and effectively responding to disclosures and backlash during workshop facilitation.
  • Practical facilitation skill-building with a particular focus on active listening, asking questions, and understanding group dynamics.
  • Opportunities to practically apply your facilitation skills with peers.
  • Planning and practicing self and community care.

How long is this session?

This session runs for 3 hours, inclusive of a 15-minute break.
