This month we are hosting an event for all our trans, gender diverse, and intersex community in celebration of Trans Awareness Week. Friends, family and allies are welcome to join.

Transgender Awareness Week is a one-week celebration beginning on November 13 in the lead up to Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20. It is a time to raise the visibility of transgender and gender diverse communities, address key issues and celebrate together.

We will be providing some snacks and refreshments and hosting some fun activities like craft and lawn games. This event is an opportunity for people to come together in community spirit and celebration. AGA's friendly events staff will be there to have a chat and help out if you need anything!

A Gender Agenda (AGA) works to support and adovcate for the intersex, trans and gender diverse community. We acknowledge the important role that partners, family members and allies play and these people are all also welcomed as part of our community.

AGA is a unique community organisation actively engaged in increasing public awareness and understanding of intersex, trans and gender diversity issues. In addition to training and education, we provide advocacy and support services, information and resources and are actively engaged in human rights and law reform. We also host a regular calendar of community events, which aims to provide social and wellbeing support to our members.
