Trans Life Drawing with Frances Cannon
Event description
This service is for transgender, gender diverse, and nonbinary people. This session is strictly 18+.
About the session: Join Frances Cannon (they/them) of Pink Ember Studio for a two hour life drawing class. This class is suitable for both beginners and advanced artists and everything in between! The class covers a number of drawing techniques gently guided by Frances, and featuring the modelling skills of the lovely Georgia (they/them/she). All materials are provided.
About the facilitator: Frances Cannon (they/them) is a Naarm based artist who specialises in painting and illustration and dabbles in silversmithing, ceramics, and pretty much anything they can get their hands on. Their work often covers themes of fat positivity, sexuality, gender, religion, and myth. They are also a workshop teacher and support worker.
Refundable deposit: There is a $15 refundable deposit for this session, and as long as you either attend the session or cancel more than 2 days in advance, you will be refunded this cost. If you do not cancel with at least two day's notice, or you do not show up, you will be charged the $15. If you are committed to coming to the session but the $15 fee poses a financial barrier, please contact us at affirmation@tgv.org.au.
