Trans Social Club: Friday Group (DnD & Games Night!)

Note: this event is for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary people.

Get ready to connect, laugh, and just be yourself at Transgender Victoria's Trans Social Club! Every second Friday evening, this is your dedicated space to hang out with other transgender, gender diverse and non-binary people.

Our TGV team will be there to kick off different activities, spark conversations, and help you make some awesome new friends. Each week is a choose-your-own adventure, with plenty of time for you to chat, play board games, or get creative with arts and crafts.

Who's it for?

• Transgender, gender diverse and non-binary folks.

• The group is neurodivergent, POC, and all abilities friendly. 

• Participants must be 16 years and over.

What to expect: Games Night (bring a game or use one of ours!)

• Trans Social Club is facilitated by LJ (they/them), TGV Programs Facilitator, two dedicated volunteers and one of our wonderful Peer Navigators. They will be there to guide the conversation and activities. 

• We will play games/ do activities together and then the second hour will be directed by you - bring a game (board or something to play on our Switch) or use some of ours!

Want to play DnD? Please email groupcoordinator@tgv.org.au to secure your spot. Places are limited and you must have some prior DnD experience to play. You do not need to prepare anything.

Accessibility & COVID Safety at Affirmation Station: Your comfort and safety are important to us.

• Mask-wearing is strongly encouraged, and we'll have spares if you need one.

• Our space is well-ventilated with two air purifiers, and there's plenty of room to physically distance.

• The venue is wheelchair accessible.

• We offer fidget toys and a separate quiet/calm space if you need some downtime.
