Trans Social Club: Cake Decorating

Note: this event is for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary people.

We're getting ready for the Great Trans Cake-Off with this one-of-a-kind cake decorating night at Trans Social Club.

Our TGV team will be there to kick off different activities, spark conversations, and help you make some awesome new friends. Each week is a choose-your-own adventure, with plenty of time for you to chat, play board games, or get creative with arts and crafts.

Who's it for?

• Transgender, gender diverse and non-binary folks.

• The group is neurodivergent, POC, and all abilities friendly. 

• Participants must be 16 years and over.

What to expect: Trans Month Edition! Decorate your cake before the Trans Cake off on the 15th!

• Trans Social Club is facilitated by LJ (they/them), TGV Programs Facilitator, two dedicated volunteers and one of our wonderful Peer Navigators. They will be there to guide the conversation and activities. 

• We will play games/ do activities together and then the second hour will be directed by you!

• If you are coming to the cake off - then bring your cake to decorate it!

Accessibility & COVID Safety at Affirmation Station: Your comfort and safety are important to us.

• Mask-wearing is strongly encouraged, and we'll have spares if you need one.

• Our space is well-ventilated with two air purifiers, and there's plenty of room to physically distance.

• The venue is wheelchair accessible.

• We offer fidget toys and a separate quiet/calm space if you need some downtime.
