Trans Week Tie Dye Workshop | Wed 18 Nov | OUTintheOPEN Festival

Join us and celebrate #transpride with a tie dye workshop for OUTintheOPEN! 🏳️‍⚧️👕🏳️‍🌈

Facilitated by tie-dye expert, Cherie, you will be guided through creating your own design and piece of "homegrown and glowing" wearable art in the colours that affirm you.

More information on the venue and accessibility:

·                The address is 146-142 Maude Street.

·                An all-accessible parking space is available onsite off the street.

·                The Settlement Hub is a building onsite at Uniting's Shepparton Office, with its own entry.

·                When facing the Uniting building on Maude street, the entry is through a gate to the left of the large red brick building.

·                Move through the gate towards the building behind the grassed area. It has a 'sttlement Hub' sign above the entry.

·                There all all-gender bathrooms on site, including an all-gender and all-accessible bathroom.  

·                The entry has a ramp and the space has level lino and carpet flooring, overhead lighting and windows without blinds along one side.

·                Office chairs and one couch are available for seating.

·                Air conditioning and heating is available, pending the weather.

·                Disposable gloves will be available to help minimis dye to skin contact.

·                Participants can take their t-shirt home to wash or leave and collect from the GV Pride Hub post the OUTintheOPEN festival. 

·                An OUTintheOPEN festival volunteer will be present at this event alongside the facilitator so support participants where possible.
