Transformational Connections: Embedding Cultural Intelligence into Everyday Practice
Event description
The Final Workshop in the Cultural Intelligence Series | Blak Ignited x Riley Callie Resources
After a powerful journey through Cultural Reference Points, Emotional Intelligence, Indigenous Worldviews, and Inclusive Practice — Transformational Connections brings it all together. This final session is where reflection becomes responsibility, and awareness transforms into meaningful action.
In this interactive and culturally grounded session, you’ll be supported to:
🔹 Identify and implement specific actions that foster inclusion in your personal and professional life
🔹 Build confidence in addressing and resolving cultural misunderstandings with empathy and clarity
🔹 Deepen your understanding of relational accountability — the recognition that how we show up impacts others, and that true inclusion requires ongoing, reciprocal commitment
🔹 Explore how Indigenous principles of community, connection, and reciprocal curiosity can reshape the way we listen, lead, and build culturally safe environments
This session is not about knowing more — it’s about becoming more. More conscious. More connected. More courageous in how we use our influence to create change. Whether you’ve joined every workshop or are arriving here with fresh curiosity, Transformational Connections will guide you to integrate what you’ve learned into your way of being, thinking, and doing.
Join us and take your next step from intention to impact.
About the facilitator:
Tammy Baart
As a proud Boorooberongal Dharug woman I educate, advocate for and enable all individuals to be empowered to exceed
their own expectations. Over two decades of executive educational leadership experience has led to an ignited
passion and drive to find the gaps in systems so all individuals are provided with the access and opportunity to
succeed. Through honouring my culture to decolonise ways of being, doing and knowing, I work to create
human-centred and sustainable solutions that leave a legacy everyone can be proud of.
Working across various industries, I bring people together through connection, collaboration and capitalising upon
collective wisdom to create transformative workplace cultures through custom learning, development and training
needs and building Cultural Intelligence.
“Tammy is a bold and courageous Indigenous woman who has the foresight and vision to push herself and in turn
those she works with to greater heights. Understanding the bigger picture while knowing the little things matter
is her superpower. The compassion and love she puts into the work she does with young people is contagious and
endless.”
