    Event description

Transformational Ethical Story Telling (T.E.S.T) delivered by Our Race

Story Telling and capturing the voices of people with lived experience is a way for organisations to share project outcomes, success stories and provides a platform for volunteer voices.

But how many of us have had training to do this ethically?

Ethical storytelling recognises the value and dignity of storytellers with lived experiences.

    Join us to:

    • discuss common issues with how Stories are recorded, requested, and shared by and for organisations.
    • learn about the key language of safe, ethical Story Telling.
    • explore the five principles of the T.E.S.T framework .

By the end of the session you will:

    • have a shared language to discuss safe, ethical Story Telling.
    • gain an understanding of the T.E.S.T. Framework and its guiding principles.
    • gain an awareness of how to value people’s Stories more respectfully.
    • be able to identify structural barriers to work towards safe, ethical Story Telling.

    About Our Race:
