Event description

Translating Freedom: Language, Culture, and International Solidarity in Ukraine’s Fight

Vasyl Myroshnychenko is Ukraine’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Australia and also accredited to New Zealand, a post he has held since early 2022. Since assuming the role, he has actively sought broader support from Australia and New Zealand, highlighting Australia as the largest military supporter of Ukraine among non‑NATO states. He has consistently emphasised the importance of sustained allied support to counter Russian aggression and strengthen Ukraine’s international partnerships.
