Discussion Overview
In this conversation, we’ll explore how making our learning goals more transparent may influence student motivation and their use of Generative AI tools. Together, we’ll reflect on how we communicate the purpose behind our assignments - and how that might shift student engagement, especially around the use of AI.
What to Expect:
Participant-driven discussion (with Cathy Mills helping to facilitate hybrid discussion)
Interactive format with self-reflective activities, small and large group discussions
Opportunity to share and discuss assignment instructions and outlines
Use of Mentimeter, Padlet, and other digital tools accessible via smartphone or computer
Themes and discussions will be captured to help build our resources on Blackboard
