Event description

Trash and Treasure Market Jamison is an enterprise of the Rotary Club of Belconnen that was established in 1974 and raises funds to support community projects.

Operating hours

The Market runs every Sunday morning from 06:30am to 12:30pm in the Jamison Centre carpark, Bowman Street Macquarie. The only exception is when Christmas Day falls on a Sunday. The Market operates in all weathers, but stall holders may or may not attend on wet days at their own discretion. 

Refunds

Refunds are available up to 24 hours prior to the Market (06:30am on the preceding Saturday). If you do not cancel your booking and request a refund before 06:30am on the preceding Saturday, we thank you for your donation to the programs of the Rotary Club of Belconnen.

Prohibited items

The following activities are not permitted:

  • The sale of animals, other than poultry as outlined in the Animal Welfare Code of Practice 2010, is not permitted.
  • The sale of firearms as defined under the Firearms Act 1996. 
  • The sale of hazardous substances and dangerous goods as defined under the Dangerous Substances Act 2004.
  • The sale of liquor as defined under the Liquor Act 2010.
  • The sale of medicines, poisons and therapeutic goods as defined under the Medicines, Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 2008.
  • The sale of pest plants and animals as defined under the Pest Plants and Animals Act 2005.
  • The sale of R and X rated publications, videos and games as defined under the Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) (Enforcement) Act 1995.
  • The sale of tobacco as defined in the Tobacco Act 1927.
  • The sale of vehicles as defined under the sale of Motor Vehicles Act 1977.

The sale of dangerous good is also not permitted. This includes ammunition, chemicals, fireworks, flammable liquids, guns, weapons or any other goods considered to be dangerous.

Goods that contravene intellectual property laws, including copyright are also not permitted.

Regular stallholders

A list of regular stallholders that have reserved sites each week is below. The list is reviewed quarterly and enquiries about becoming a regular stallholder should be directed to tnt@belconnenrotary.au.
