COFFS F2F - Trauma, Attachment & Positive Behaviour Support
Event description
Calling those who work in education, community services, foster care/kinship care workers, early childhood providers, health and housing workers to join ThIS Training for an immersive and evidence informed 1 Day training session on Trauma, Attachment & Positive Behaviour Support. This in-person event is designed to equip professionals and caregivers with essential knowledge and practical strategies to better understand and support individuals affected by trauma and attachment challenges.
We will be holding this 1 day training face to face, and our experienced facilitator will give valuable insights into the neurobiology of trauma, trauma-informed care and positive behavior management techniques. Drawing from the work of Bessel Van Der Kolk, Karin Purvis, Garbot Mate, Dan Seigel & Judi Atkinson amongst others, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the impact of trauma and attachment on individuals and explore the neurobiology of trauma, intergenerational trauma, and evidence-informed approaches for fostering resilience and self regulation, and promoting positive behaviors.
"This is the best training I have ever attended and has certainly improved the way i understand and work with trauma based behaviours" Education Support worker Darwin
"Thank you Kym. This training was invaluable for me and my team, and your engagement, delivery and knowledge of not just the theory but also how it looked in practice was excellent. I cannot endorse this training enough! Also: Thanks for the laughs". Lismore Case Manager
