Trauma-Aware Teaching and Research CoP (Q3 2026)
Description
This is our third Trauma-Aware teaching and research Community of Practice for 2026.
Join Feren Yen from the Australian Trauma Education Centre (ATEC) for a practical, restorative webinar designed to support the wellbeing of those working in trauma-aware education and research.
This hands-on session will:
Provide an overview of the domains of wellbeing and explore how trauma can impact educators and researchers.
Include dedicated reflection time
Guide participants through regulation exercises, including a body scan, breathing practices, and trauma-sensitive movement
The session is intentionally experiential. You will have the opportunity to try mini practices that can be adapted for personal use or shared in educational and research settings.
Open to anyone interested in trauma-aware education, research, and wellbeing—whether you are new to this work or looking to replenish your own capacity.
