Trauma Informed Care Workshop
Event description
Join us for Trauma Informed Care Workshop to be held in Tamborine Mt Library on 5th December 2024!
Many people experience trauma, which can affect how they work and live. When they access services, they may face triggers or risk being re-traumatised. To support them better, workplaces and service providers need to understand trauma-informed practices to communicate sensitively and prevent further harm.
Trauma Informed Care Workshop aims to improve understanding and skills of workers, volunteers and policymakers in the health care and human services sectors, when working and supporting people impacted by traumatic events in their lives.
