Trauma-Informed Practice Skills (Children and Young People)

Trauma-Informed Practice Skills (TIPS) is an 8-hour course designed to educate individuals on the theory behind trauma, as well as the presentations and implications of trauma. Our TIPS (Children and Young People) program approaches trauma through a practical lens, teaching useful models and approaches for dealing with trauma that will boost your confidence in your own abilities.

Our TIPS program contains 4 key modules:
1. Neurobiology: What do we know?
2: Presentation: What do we see?
3. Intervention: What do we do?
4. Wellbeing: What do we change?
This course will be presented in TWO FOUR-HOUR BLOCKS.
Day 1 will be the 13th of May from 9:30am - 1:30pm. This will cover Module 1 and 2.
Day 2 will be the 20th of May from 9:30am - 1:30pm. This will cover Module 3 and 4.
Prior to the course, you will receive your course handbook and course outline information.
After course completion, you will gain resource access, ongoing support, and will be granted 8 PD points (and an accompanying certificate).
REGISTER BEFORE THE 6TH OF MAY FOR AN EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT ($320). FROM THE 6TH OF MAY ONWARDS, PAY $350. This price includes BOTH days. Registration confirms your place on both days (regardless of the event only saying the 13th of May).
